Recovering from a Sewer Backup

All attempts at making light aside, a sewer backup is a very hazardous environment. Most companies will not even handle them due to the danger and risks associated with the them. A sewage loss is classified as a Category 3 or “black water loss”. It requires our technicians to wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect themselves, and means that certain materials MUST be removed!
