Our Hurricane Policies

Active hurricane seasons produce trying & difficult times for the homeowner and business-owner alike. Assuredly, we are no more fond of hurricanes than you are! However, in an effort to enable us to efficiently meet your needs this hurricane season, we have set some guidelines for our operations during this time. While some of these items may appear to be restrictive, behaviors observed during prior storms have made these policies imperative to the safety & security of all. |
Hurricane Deductibles - Please have your
insurance policy with hurricane deductible available at our time of
visit. Your entire deductible must be collected for us to respond in an
emergency. As this can be a significant amount of money, please review
your policy and be aware of these sums. Should your deductible exceed
$3500, a deposit of that amount will be acceptable to begin work.
Who's responsible for your bill? While we
will submit all billing information and supporting documentation to your
insurance company as a courtesy, ultimately, you are responsible for
your bill. Just as any other contractor would, we will require payment
upon completion of each job or job phase.
Payment Types Accepted - We accept VISA,
MASTERCARD, personal checks, & money orders. We can also provide you
with contact information on other lending sources as necessary. PLEASE
BE PROACTIVE ABOUT THIS AS TYPICAL DRY TIMES ARE FROM 5-8 DAYS, AND ANY
SHORT-TERM FUNDS YOU MAY BORROW WILL REQUIRE A MINIMUM SEVERAL DAYS TO
PROCESS. Pre-applications are often a good idea.
Storm Pricing - As you may imagine,
working in a storm typically happens outside of a standard business
environment. While we try to maintain our standardized pricing for labor
and equipment cost, variation is sometimes required in these
circumstances. We always endeavor to be as fair as possible to our
clients.
Our pricing structure - Like any business,
we reserve the right to set our own pricing structure. However, in
general we use databases pulled from the insurance industry's leading
provider of database pricing, Xactimate.
